I just wanted to give a shout out to Viv for the nice post wishing me well on my new voyage into the unknown. that was cool : )
Tim Hardaway is back playing b ball... as a die hard Warriors fan that makes me really happy. The score of his first game back after being off for a year was: Indiana 140, Chicago 89.... They rocked the Bulls by 51 points.... Tim is the man. He had a huge game:
"He had 14 points, seven assists and four rebounds, three steals and eight deflections. He's a gym rat. When he's 50, he'll be in a gym playing." --ESPN.com That f'n rocks. Go Tim!!! Run T.M.C.
In other NBA news my dogs beat PHILLY at PHILLY!!!!!!! DAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaamn!!! whooo hoooo!!! go dogs!!! woof! I love hoops. I am gonna be sad when the season is over.
In other other NBA news I got to see MJ play last week against my dogs... it was rad. My dogs won again, but MJ still got to throw down some sick moves so it was a totally complete game. Whoooot!!! good good isht!! rad!

Today was my first day at my new job. Things went ok I guess... not really sure what I think about the place yet. The people are nice and the place is clean and fancy and the soda machine is free and the poptarts are only 25 cents.... and the work looks like it is gonna be kinna interesting..... but it isn't hesh at all. It isn't loud at all. I have to dress nice and act nice and watch my language and listen to music on headphones. No one will ever yell "Waaaarrrioooooooorrrrr!" when I walk into the room... No one is gonna drop any f' bombs at the top of their lungs... no one is gonna say to me: "what's up dawg!" It isn't gonna be anything like my old job... hm.... *sigh*....... change is never easy.
hm... I am in a bad mood today. I don't really know why. I have no reason to be in a bad mood. I guess I am just wondering when my dreams are gonna come true? When is it gonna be my turn to rock the big time? When am I gonna get my chance to take a chance and make something great come of it. When do I get to go for broke and make my mark on this world? When do I get to rock the good life? When do I get to have fun.... when do I get to take over the world???? I don' t think it is gonna be anytime soon... though I guess you never know... ya never know when the world is gonna up and give you an un seen chance to become the king.... but at the rate I am going... it is gonna take time... a whole lotta precious time, it's gonna take patience and time... to do it, to do it, to do it, to do it to do it, to do it right!!!! hm... I don't know where that came from.... whatever... erf...
I need to make some changes. I need to go for what's mine. I know what I need to do... I just can't seem to motivate to do it. Where did all my energy go??? where did all my positive energy go??? What the fuck. I am in such a bad mood for no reason at all. This sucks. Snap out of it man!! Get a grip!!! Get a hold of yourself!!!! PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER MAN!!!! What is my f'n problem.... get some direction... get some goals... get some dreams... that is what I need to do.... stop coasting through life like a ship without a sail... stop letting the current take you this way and that... get a fucking huge engine in your boat and crank that fucker to full throttle! hm... I feel a little better now. I will be ok.

It's really weird to be leaving this place... Seems like I have been waiting around for this change for a long time I have worked here at this company for almost 4 years now Throughout a period of over 5 I have been month to month and week to week as a temp for over a year now and now that is all ending. I have met lots of really cool people and I have worked a lot of crazy hours in these buildings... It feels really strange... no wait, that doesnt quite express it.. it feels like I am walking upside down in some other universe right now yea that is more like it A whole chapter in my life is coming to an end A whole section of my life is drawing to a close.. It is kinna wild. There is a huge part of me that is going to miss this place a ton. I have lots of good friends and countless memories from this place. And then of course there is a part of me isn't gonna miss this place at all... but when I get right down to it, I feel a kinna tear well up inside of me when I think about leaving this place for good. Its almost like leaving SB like.. that is over now and I will only be back to visit from now on Its like yea, I am no longer a part of that unit anymore I am just a piece on my own now Wow I would have never thought it would be like this. These feelings are not at all what I was expecting Thanks for the memories its been a good ride.

I dont like talking about the whole war topic much. My feelings on this subject are pretty complicated. When I really start to think about things I realize that I REALLY dont know how I feel about all this war business I have been torn for some time now on what stance I feel is appropriate When I look at it one way I feel that this war is just another way for greedy power hungry blood thirsty bastards to get more money and more power. And on the other hand I see it as a necessary action to abolish an immoral, insane, and unethical tyrant. I feel like I am in between a rock and a hard place on this one. A big part of it is because I have no faith in Dubbayas leadership ability. I am not a big fan to say the least. But at the same time I dont trust any other politicians either So who is to say if he is more or less evil then any other who could be wearing his shoes? The only thing I do know is that I support our troops; they have no choice in the matter and are there to give their lives for us. That is a huge sacrifice. There are Americans over there right now who are willing to risk their lives for people that they have never even met, and probably never will meet either. I have to support them and honor them even if I am not in favor of a war with Iraq. I just hope Dubbaya really went as far as he could with the peace process. Why cant we all just get along? Or maybe I should fall back to the old phrase: build boards not bombs? Life would be so much better if everyone just went to the skate park every day after work and watched hoops at night. And thats a Fact.

"What Is And What Should Never Be "is a bad ass song... just for the record... and I am not even a big Zepplin head either... but I really like that song for some reason.
I went and checked out the Redwood City Skatepark yesterday after work. It looks like it is gonna be a really fun place to skate. It has lots of rad looking props and some pretty rad bowl sections. I didnt ride because it was super crowded. There were two cops in the parking lot and I didnt have my helmet in my car. Getting a ticket for skating is lame. But anyway, it looks like it is gonna be a rad place to go shred! So if you need to find me any time in the next couple of months and I am not at Greer, you know where to look now hahaha

I am bored, no that doesnt quite describe how I feel I AM REALLY BORED!!! Oh and I also dont feel like working at all right now. I am super antsy right now I shouldnt have skated today at lunch because that is all I have been able to think about since. I am having a hard time motivating to get my work done here I have a lot to do but I just dont feel like doing it. I havent gotten very many emails today and I really dont feel like working. To top it all off AIM isnt connecting to the server right now so I cant even bug other people and try to get them to procrastinate with me Did I mention that I dont feel like working anymore today? I am really tempted to go skate the new Redwood City skate park I know Dylan The Destroyer would tell me to go skate the park and to give my work the middle finger Maybe that is what I should do. Hmm.. That would be pretty fun. I think I should do that. I need to find a way to get rid of all this excess energy grrr

I went skating at Greer today and rocked some pretty crazy lines... like unorthodox drunken boxing super hesh ninja type lines... all crazy sketch, all crazy fast, all crazy out of the normal kinna lines... It was really fun. I havent skated with that much crazy flow in a long time. I felt like I was a real shred dog today not just some crazy fool tryin to carve a line. It was the best session I have had in days. Someone threw down a really sick graffiti piece there too... which made it even better... It has a huge mushroom cloud that is all super detailed and stuff it is rad. I will try to throw down a picture of it in my new photo album I am going to try to take some photos there tomorrow with Capn Shred dog Stew. It has been a super long time since someone has thrown down some sick graffiti at Greer. Too long if you ask me... the pieces there in the last 6 months have sucked more then a Hoover Super Vacuum cleaner. Finally seeing some rad artwork at the park made me happy. My session was much more fun because of it. I wish more talented graffiti artists would start painting there instead of the lame-ass-toys that have been hitting it up every other day. I hope none of those silly toys go over it with their sorry toy style graff. The last few pieces that have gone up looked a lot like a huge pile of barf. Anyway, I had a super good time riding today and that was rad. I love skating at that place, it's sooo good for the soul... : ) The only problem is that now I don't feel like working anymore today. Grrr... It is soooo nice out today...

This is kind of a random topic, and I usually write about it in my other blog but for some reason I decided to put it here... Last night I got to thinking about all the girls I had dated in the past couple of years... for some reason... Well, actually I know what the reason was: I was going through one of my old checkbooks and I found a check that one of my ex's had made to herself almost 2 years ago as a joke for $1,000,000.00. In the notes it said for: "Sex, BJ's, and other stuff" ;)... Anyway 2 years later it was kinna funny to find, and surprisingly it actually put a smile on my face. But anyway, I got to thinking about all the girls I have dated recently and I had to ask myself "what were you thinking dog???. Not because they were lame girls or anything like that... but because they were not my style at all. But then I got to thinking and I was like... dude, what is your style man? What do you look for in a girl anyways??? What would my ideal girl be like? What combination of traits would she posses? And that is when I realized that I really don't know what I am looking for in a girl anymore... I used to have a big list of things that I thought were important... Maybe I should try to put together a new list... hmmmm something to think on

So the Weekend in Review:
Saturday: Woke up super early... went to work... worked till around 12:45... Cruzed to Skate Works, then cruzed to Mt. View to see my Mom. Chilled at the ole house for a bit and then cruzed up to the Liquor store to buy a 40 for the party later that evening. After I hooked up my Colt 45 I rolled back to the RWC and chilled at the house for a while. Chilled with the dog, and the dogs. Played a ton of Gauntlet and then worked on the bikes for a bit. At around 7 we rode our bikes down to the Canyon Inn for some fat burgers and fries... It was a super fun ride down the hill I got the Cruzer sideways around a couple of the turns... doing skids is soooo fun... especially if you are hauling ass. I have a feeling that we will be doing that ride a lot once the weather gets a little nicer. By the way, if you haven't been to tha Canyon Inn yet.. you are seriously missing out on life. Yar! A Damn good burger there... Without a doubt some of the best burgers I have ever had in my life so far. The ride back to the house wasn't quite as fun... it's all up hill. What prolly took us 2 min' to descend, took about 12 to climb back up... and on a full stomach that is pretty harsh... It didn't help that Capn' Ben "the ping pong crusher" bet me $10 that I couldn't eat the entire "Grand Canyon" burger and then within 10 min' of completion, ride as hard as I could up to the house with out throwing up... glad to say I am now $10 richer! Hahaha taught him a lesson... haha. It must have looked pretty funny to see 3 dudes on a single speed, a BMX Cruzer, and a mountain bike trying to ride as fast as they could up a hill being trailed by a Land Rover with it's hazards on... haha It was fun. After the ride up the hill it was time to hit the shower and get ready for my friend Jamie's birthday/St. Patty's day party in San Jose. The party was pretty fun, most of the Dogs were there so that is always fun. Not many single girls so that was kinna a bummer but gotta say for the most part it was a really fun party. Pretty good music, good friends, Jamie got a pony Keg of Tied House Green Beer which was pretty cool and I had my nice cold 40, brown bag steelo, so that was pretty rad. I got some funny looks from a few people but whatever... they just don't know what it's all about... haha
Body count for the night:
1 Forty (Colt 45)
5 Keg cups o' Green beer
1 Really bad Green Jell-O Shot
Sunday: Sunday was chill day Slept in late... got up and messed around the house for a bit. Played some ping pong and chilled on the front porch for a bit because our power was out. Then at around 1 I rolled over to Downtown San Carlos to get some late breakfast at this cool little diner type place. Good food for super cheap, it was great. After breakfast I went up to the house and watched BMX and Skate flicks all day and of course I played some Gauntlet too. Before I knew it the day was done and it was time to sleep It was a good weekend I am looking forward to the summer.

So its Saturday and I am really tired and when I got to work it was really early and when I got out of bed it was night still, not morning. I could probably fall asleep standing right now. The monitor packing foam in the corner of my office is looking more and more like a bed as each minute passes. I went to bed at almost 3 last night because of my very serious Gauntlet addiction. I need to find a 12 step program for Gauntlet abuse. On a ligher note my character achieved Level 75 status last night and he got super buff. I ate pizza for dinner and it was really good. I also went bowling last night. I did pretty well considering I wasnt ever more then one beer deep all night. I laughed a lot and had a good time. I am listening to a band called Monkey right now. They are a really good Ska band from the bay area. I like Ska Music it makes me happy It feels like summertime in Santa Barbara in here right now even tho it is nothing like that. Infact it is pretty cold in here maybe I should turn on the heater but then, maybe the cold is the only thing keeping me awake I wish the weather was a bit better actually the weather is great right now, but the ground is super wet so that is bad. I want to go skate right now. Wet ground on a skateboard is like a nine millimeter slug in your dome: bad for your health. I havent done a crooked grind in forever. I may never do one again. I need to learn backside tail slides on ramp. I need to build a ghetto mini ramp at the house in the hills where I live now. I really like my new place. It reminds me of being down in SB kind of. It is fun. Riding bikes in the house is lots of fun too I like playing silly Nintendo games yelling at the TV and drinking beers and eating pasta and sandwiches doing silly things to pass the time rules. Life is fun. This post is random. I go back to work now. More insanity later. Pick it up ska, pick it up ska..

It is too windy and wet out to go skate and my legs hurt too much to go jogging I have to work super early tomorrow so I dont even think I am gonna do much tonight The Warriors are on the Radio but because Fox Sports sucks it isnt on TV this post is boring.. I am posting because I am bored I need to get out of here I think

Go Truckers! To top it off I also pounded 3 beers while doing it... We ended up taking 2 games out of three.... it was a great night. I also bowled a 237 on my last game... prolly my best series ever... it was really cool. : ) Thursdays rule... YAR!!!

I feel really good right now... my whole body is sore... my legs are tight, my back feels like it is burning... and my arms feel like lead... it is such a great feeling. The reason I feel like this is complex: I have gone riding in the hills for the past two days in a row... Yesterday we hammered and at one point I thought my legs might stop working.... I skated a ton on Saturday and worked a bunch of my "street skating muscles" ones that have been neglected of late... I moved a bunch of pallets today and a bunch of board boxes... man my body feels really sore... but it feels really good too, like all my muscles are starting to get toned again or something... The kinna sore you feel after a hard workout is great.... I love that feeling exauhstion and accomplishment and energized all at the same time. I have also been eating a little better lately... got a veggie burrito off the truck the last two days : ) and I have been exercising a lot more then I had in the last couple of months... it feels really good. I am starting to feel like an awesome killing machine again... haha well... maybe not a killing machine, but a finely tuned one at that... haha it is a great feeling I need to stay focused and keep this up. Summer time is just around the corner, and I plan on going to tha beach! : )

They are playing great music today on the radio.... Pat Benatar is a rocker... they just got done playing Heartbreaker... there is a lot of energy in that song. Now they are playing the Rolling Stones Sympathy for the Devil I have always loved this song... I don't really know why... I guess because of the structure of the song... the descriptive lyrics... the mystery behind the meaning of the song I dunno... for some reason the song has always intrigued me... I love the way some songs can really get into your system and charge you up.. Electricity pumping through your veins emotion, fire, sparks, explosions, power. Changing, Generating, flowing pushing your feelings into the red and blasting you into the unknown Music is awesome.
So with out further delay...
The weekend In Review:
Friday night: Friday night was my night to party... or something... Well I dunno it didn't turn out to be the crazy night I was expecting... partly because I wasn't feeling like a rock star, and partly because none of my friends were feeling like rock stars either... It was my old comrade Brett's birthday so a bunch of the SB heads sailed into the ole port in San Francisco to meet up. It is always good to see the crew. I had a great time catching up with everyone and chillin. But it definitely wasn't the crew of old. No one got drunk, no one got loud, guess all my rowdy friends have settled down... to quote an old country song... anyway, it was more of a chill, how ya doing, what have you been up to kinna night... maybe the days of staggering around drunk and causing chaos have started to become more rare... It was just 3 years ago that on Capn' Brett's birthday that Brett broke his ankle, Ben punched a window, and Jeff threw up all over the place... ahh.. How times have changed... maybe it's all for the better... haha Anyway, it was good to see everyone and made me wish I was still rockin it back down in SB... man... those were the good ole days... life was easy, times were fun, and days were long... such a good experience, so many good friends. Ahh... to be a kid again.. hahaha
Saturday: Woke up around 10 and sorta decided to just have a chill kinna morning. Played some serious games of catch with Grace for a while and then logged an intense hour or two playing Gauntlet. Then I just kicked it in the back yard in the sun until almost 2. Met up with Capn' Stew and his dog Matt and then we went to San Jose to go get our shred on street steelo. What started off as kinna a lame session turned into on of the best I have had in a long time. I actually managed to skate pretty decently. We hit up Bowers park which is always a good time. I like skating there, feels like the old days... Anyway after a really long sesh and a lot of pretty serious slams we called it a day and headed out. Saturday night was pretty fun. I went down to Mt. View to hang out with a few friends from High school and embarked on this seasons first back yard BBQ... yea!! I can't wait to get back in weekend BBQ mode... this summer is gonna be awesome. After the BBQ I mostly spent my time playing more Gauntlet and also heading over to my old house to pack up some of the last things that I am bringing up to the house in Redwood City.
Sunday: Sunday was another pretty chill day, went for a quick ride on my dope Cruser bmx with Geoff and Damian... played with the dog... played.. yes more Gauntlet.... and basically just relaxed. It was a good day all in all. Went to work for a bit and then cruzed to Mt. View to do some more cleaning. Sunday was not all that productive... but all in all it was a great day.

Last night was bowling night Always a fun night I did ok my first two games were not all that rad but in the second game I managed to throw 3 in a row in the 10th frame to seal our victory if I had bowled one less strike we would have lost it was a tight spot, lots of pressure but I managed to pull through so that was rad it was a great feeling. I dont normally enjoy being in that position, having to throw down huge in the last frame for the win but I gotta admit, sometimes it is awesome especially when you throw it down and win. We only won one game last night but we played against the number one team in the league and they threw it down last night so we were not too disappointed. It was a fun night. Capn Geoff bowled really well for tha truckers last night, he has got a mean hook like his name should be Capn Hook Capn Walker has a pretty mean hook too they are bad ass Capn Saaaaam threw it down as well I think he shot a 189 on his second to last game It was a good time. It always is. Yar, heres ta good times me hearties

Yar! So yea, I went to the Warriors Pacers game last night and go to see them finally get back to .500!!!! It was insane. I sailed over to tha game with my comrads in arms: Capn' Pete "Of the Thuglife" Barney and Capn' "Scream till you pass out" Kevin. It was awesome. We got to the Arena in Oak-town super early....at around 4:30 and did a little tailgating with a case of Caronas out in the parking lot. While we waited we talked about past games, the current winning streak and the good old days down in SB (we were all Sabado/Courts locs). It was a lot of fun. Game time approached we decided to go up and check out the store.. not a lot of cool stuff to buy but I did manage to find a throwback hat that was pretty cool. So I got that and then went to get in line to get my Chris Mullin Bobble head!! Whoo hooo! Once we got into the Arena you could just feel the anticipation and excitement in the air it was awesome people all around were buzzing and getting hyped!! The most riled up I have seen the Arena in days! It was awesome got my hot dog and soda and went to chill up in the stands. Before long it was game time and oh what a game crrrraaaazzzy!! The whole place was going off! It was awesome! I have never seen the Arena get so hyped and have never heard it roar so fiercely .... I hope this is a sign of things to come people all over the place were on their feet and screaming their heads off it was soooo rad. It felt like we were at a play off game and man, they played great. Good good hoops super fun night! I am sooooo glad I go to go. GO Warriors! 500 baby!!!!

"The Pacers, who also visit Western Conference powers the Los Angeles Lakers, Portland and Sacramento, have dropped seven of their last eight overall. "It's all right," Artest said. "We'll get it back tomorrow, beat the Lakers." (taken from NBA.com) haha rad! GO PACERS!!! hehe!

I woke up and rolled out of my nice warm cozy bed at 6am this morning. Took a quick shower and hit the road by 6:45 to get to work today.. but I didnt even care, and ya know why? Because I am going to the Warriors game tonight!!!!!!!!! Whoooooo hoooooo!!!!! Go DOGS!! Tonight they play the Pacers, who are number one in the Eastern Division If they win tonight they will be within two games of a playoff position and will also go over 50% for the first time since the second game of the season This game is huge tonight. I had to go. I am super super pumped up right now! YAR!!! Tha bastards better make the bloody Pacers walk the bloody plank tonight!!! It is gonna be a super good game I am having a hard time waiting for three oclock to roll around Tonight is gonna be rad!

Yar....On a lighter note I did have a lot of fun doing pretty much nothing this weekend. I skated a ton, which is always good. I rode at Greer for close to 4 hours on Sunday with Capn Stew dog. Man that guy rips. The highlight of the weekend was getting to see skateboarding legend Pete The Ox thoroughly kill the park and put all of the locs in place Anyone who thought they were good at skating Greer left realizing they sucked. Even Capn Stew, who is one of the shred dogs of all shred dogs and a Greer Park Icon himself The Ox did some pretty crazy things Things that were beyond imagination Things I would have never even thought possible The lines that he hit were insane fast, wild, and crazy sick He even did an invert on the island He threw down crazy OG slash grinds layback slides every shred dog trick in the book I was blown away It was seriously inspirational I had to pinch myself to believe that I wasnt dreaming the insanely brutal assault that I was witnessing. So much style, so much skill, so much over the edge shred dogging man, it was great. I have never seen anyone kill a park with so much style and ease it was sick. I can only hope to be 1/10000 as good as that dude some day it was crazy. To top it all off, the dude was super chill and super nice too man soooo rad. The essence of skateboarding that is what I witnessed what it means to really skate it was pretty fn cool.

Its Monday I dont feel like working. I am in a bad mood for no reason which totally sucks I wanted to call in sick today even though I am feeling fine I dont know what my problem is today Did I get up on the wrong side of the bed today or something? Maybe I went to sleep on the wrong side of the bed Maybe I didnt get enough stuff done this weekend maybe I have a cold Maybe I am just being stupid Maybe it is time to re-evaluate my goals and make some changes in my life again. I know one reason I am in a bad mood is because I am not taking any photo classes right now. I think I am also in a bad mood because I have come up short on a bunch of goals that I had. Mad at myself maybe that is why I am feeling the funk today.. Maybe it is because my car drained me of almost all of my savings and now once again I am feeling the $$ hurt till my next paycheck. I am sure that has a little bit to do with it. I was looking forward to making some purchases and finishing some projects that I have been working on and my car breaking down killed all that. I think another big part of it is working at this stupid company. My whole department is ass backwards. They do everything the hard way.. everyone complains about everything it is lame Not to mention the fact that half of the people I work with are about as smart as a rock. I just dont get it. Erf complain complain complain what the hell is wrong with me these days I used to be such a positive person now it seems like every few weeks I am stuck in the mud with a frown on my face. I think the biggest reason I am in such a bad mood must be because of my job. I am seriously underachieving here I should be doing something better with my time. I shouldnt be working as a fucking temp still. I should be happy that I just have a job but when I think about it I would sometimes rather be not working and collecting unemployment then doing some of the shit projects that they have me working on I shouldnt be breaking my back for a department that cant tell their ass from a hole in the ground. I should be doing greater things with my life. I need to find some new motivation I need ot rediscover my lust for life. I need to get off my ass and make some changes what I really need to do is get back on the positive tip. I need to take some time to make some new goals and stuff It is time to get this silly ship back on course. Yar tis past time

It is Saturday I slept in late and chilled all morning I cleaned the house up for a while, broke the vacuum cleaner, spent some time moving stuff around in my room, played catch with Grace for an hour or so, and made some lunch. It was a nice lazy Saturday morning. I finally took a shower at around one and headed out on the road. Threw my reflects on, cranked up my stereo, and then rocked out to Thin Lizzy and Ted Nugent as I drove down to the Mt. View skate park. I skated there for about three hours It was pretty fun. There were some wacky kids there some dumb ones too. But most of them were cool, so that was fun. There were some really little kids there who didnt skate but they kept chasing after peoples boards when they would fall and then they would bring the boards back to whoever fell sorta like ball boys they were having such a good time haha it was pretty rad.. Kids rock. I spent some time talking with them and laughing/making jokes with them.. haha They were cool, super, super funny. After the sesh I headed over to Taco Bell and then went to work. Not sure what I am gonna do tonight. No plans as of yet may just go home and chill clean my room some more. Maybe just take it easy I dunno well see
